TERROIR
Viré-Clessé is located in the northern half of the Mâconnais region. We blend grapes from plots in Viré and the hillsides overlooking Clessé. The low altitude, limestone soils, east-southeast exposure, and proximity to the Saône River provide ideal growing and ripening conditions.
TASTING AND PAIRINGS
Its golden color is enveloped in fragrant notes of gently cooked mirabelle plums. Here, Chardonnay speaks an international language that everyone understands. Its fruit, as delicious as it is generous, is enhanced by a lively mineral effervescence that heightens the pleasure.
